GMC and Chevrolet to Introduce New Midsize Pick-Ups

General Motors announced both GMC and Chevrolet will introduce two new midsize pickup trucks as early as next year, providing consumers an alternative pickup that blends incredible towing power with better fuel economy.

According to Mark Reuss, president of GM North America, the two pickups will target different demographics with the GMC targeting small business owners and fleet buyers. The mid-size pickup will offer a new powertrain for more power and its smaller size will help target those who seek pickup power without the pickup size.

This along with the news that the GMC Sierra will be the leading fuel economy pickup in its segment, GMC is prepared to make 2014 the year of the truck!
