The Cadillac brand is adding another twin-turbo to its lineup.

Now those rumors have been confirmed, as Automotive News is reporting that the 2014 Cadillac XTS will have an optional twin-turbo 3.6L V6, which will give the car a muscular 430 lb-ft of torque and 420 horsepower.

The 2014 Cadillac XTS will come standard with the base 3.6L V6 engine, 19 inch wheels and Brembo brakes, but drivers can opt into the performance heavy turbo charged engine if they want.

Also available on the 2014 XTS is all-wheel drive capabilities, adding to the car’s potential acceleration times. Other options include automatic parking assist, electric power steering on front wheel drive models, rear-seat entertainment, and twin DVD screens.

Cadillac expects to carry over the standard, luxury, premium, and platinum trim levels for 2014.

Twin-Turbo Charged Siblings Cadillacs

Cadillac is stepping up the performance of its lineup with the 2014 Cadillac CTS and the 2014 Cadillac XTS. Both are going to offer incredible power and exciting drives, especially when running with the twin-turbo charged engines.
