Cadillac and Buick Top Customer Satisfaction Study

Cadillac and Buick are at the top of their games in customer satisfaction according to a recent study from J.D. Power.

Cadillac was #1 in customer satisfaction among all luxury brands, while Buick leads the mass market brands.

The study measured customer satisfaction with maintenance and repair work at franchise dealer locations.

Cadillac and Buick: Keeping Drivers Happy

The J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Customer Service Index surveyed over 90,000 owners and lessees of 2009 to 2013 model vehicles. A key finding of the study was that customers benefit from maintenance packages which help them swiftly and conveniently address any service issues.

The study measured a customer’s experience in 5 areas: service initiation, service adviser, service facility, vehicle pick-up, and service quality.

In order to organize and clarify the data, J.D. Power divided the study into two categories: Mass Market and Luxury.

Buick Topping the Mass Market

Buick was in first place with an overall score of 835. GMC actually came in third with a score of 828. With an industry average of 797, it becomes obvious that these two brands are well above the competition when it comes to repair and maintenance service.

Cadillac is the Luxury Leader

Cadillac topped a long list of luxury brands that included Jaguar, Lincoln, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz. With a final score of 872, Cadillac showed why it has quickly become one of the top overall brands, both in the country and right here in the Cedar Rapids area.
